About OBJT

OBJT는 2018년부터 시작된 이건민의 사물에 대한 인식과 상호작용에 관한 연구를 일상사물의 형식으로 실험하는 프로젝트명 입니다.

모든 OBJT의 프로젝트들은 사물과 물성을 인식하는 감각과 개념을 확장시키기 위해 일상적인 사물을 넘어 조각으로도 기능하도록 특별히 설계되었습니다.

“OBJT” is the project name for Lee Geon-min’s research on the recognition and interaction with objects, which he has been experimenting with in the form of everyday objects since 2018.

All OBJT projects are specifically designed to function as sculptures beyond everyday objects, expanding the perception and concept of object recognition and materiality.

About Founder

어린시절부터 재료, 인간과 사물의 상호 작용에 많은 관심을 가졌습니다. 

성인이 되어서는 서울의 홍익대학교에서 파인 아트 조각을 전공, 졸업했습니다.

졸업 후 2018년 이후 서울과 런던에서 다양한 디자인 전시와 프로젝트에 참여했습니다. 

작품중 일부는 런던의 빅토리아 앨버트 박물관(V&A)에 영구 소장되었습니다.  2025년 현재까지도 여러 조형과 제작 등에 대한 실험을 꾸준히 하고 있습니다.

From an early age, he has been deeply interested in materials and the interaction between humans and objects. As an adult, he studied and graduated in Fine Art Sculpture at Hongik University in Seoul. Since graduating, he has participated in various design exhibitions and projects in Seoul and London since 2018.

Some of his works have been permanently collected by the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London.

As of 2025,  continues to pursue experiments in sculpture, form, and production.
